‘The Old Medicine’: Weight-loss Programme
(Custom Gym Plan as well as Behaviour Change Advice)
The battle starts in the home, the workplace, your local shops and ultimately in your mind when it comes to eating with a good balance. The temptation to eat is always there but you have the ability to control what you eat and when you eat it. Over the ‘8 weeks’ of this programme, we will design your Gym Plan and you’ll learn about Calories, Protein, Carbohydrates, Fats, strategies to avoid trouble foods, how to read food labels and much more.
This programme is unlike what you may have seen and tried before because we take an Islamic approach to fitness and nutrition. Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) was a scholar and learnt in science medicine, his advice which was based upon teachings from the Qur’an and Ahadith of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) also set a solid foundation for the knowledge you will gain.
Hanif is a Level 3 Nutritional Advisor and Fitness instructor, currently working towards a level 3 in Personal Training because he takes a holistic approach to better health.
